All the while undertaking commissions for Architects and interior designers of which a highlight was the refurbishment of the NSW Governor’s residence within NSW Government House in 2014.

Gary believes “good design should reflect the thoughts and ideas of a designer working at a particular point in time. It represents ideas of functionality, sustainability and bring to the fore the visual process of making. The material of wood I feel encompasses all of these attributes and working with this material acts as a conduit between these ideals and solving design problems.”
